Winter is almost here and we all may have set our winter skincare goals by now. Keeping the same in view, we are gonna discuss about Soap & Glory's "Sugar Crush Body Buttercream"

Let's see how well does it work :)

Packaging

The sugar crush body butter cream comes in a round plastic jar which is a very beautiful bubblegum pink-hot pink kinda color. Very eye-catching, and gives a sweet vibe.

300ml jar is available in around 2500/- pkr

50 ml jar is available in 500-600/- pkr

Ingredients

It is loaded with Shea and cocoa butter,almond and coconut oil and a super fresh whammy of lime oil,kiwi juice water, soothing lime tree blossom extract, scented with sugar crust-sweet lime and vanilla musk. 

How to use

The body butter cream works really well if you use it on damp skin. It does not absord as well on a dry skin. After a bath/shower,take a handful of the cream and apply it on still damp skin.

Smell/scent

Open the jar and you'll encounter a citrusy yet sugary lime fragrance which I loved loved loved. I can't get enough of its absolutely delicious scent. Some people may not like it and relate it to cola drinks/sprite bottle kinda smell, but trust me its gorgeous. I wish there was a *send scent* button to send the beautiful fragrance of the buttercream :)

Consistency

Consistency is very much like a lotion and not butter-like which is even better I think. Because its easy to use this way. Its non-sticky, non-greasy,spreads very nicely and absorbs right away.

Is it a good moisturizer?

It works pretty well. Very light and absorbs very easily. It gives a really smooth feel right after applying it leaving your skin soft and well moisturized. The only thing that bothers me is that its not as long lasting as it was expected to be. In the middle of the day, skin starts to dry away and you have to re-apply it. Especially for the coming harsh weather here in northern areas, I ll have to look for another more effective moisturizer or apply it many times a day.

Is it good for sensitive skin?

Absolutely yes!! It is amazing, worked very well for my super sensitive skin which easily gets eczema from one thing or the other. I always add it in my bleach cream which reduces the itching,redness and hypersensitivity instantly and leaves a soothing effect. I always get irritation if I don't add it.

PORFADE Primer-worth the Hype?

Hope you all are doing great...
Here is the much hyped primer by Pakistani brand http://www.bbamna.com "the porfade primer".I was much intrigued so decided to get one for me. I got this primer from the original website www.BBamna.com in 50% off ie 1250/- pkr. Original price is however 2500/- which is also not too much for the quantity I guess.
Let's have a detailed review on the primer girls...

Packaging

The porfade primer comes in a black and gold packaging which is very attractive and very well describes the queen's choice kinda thing.

Ingredients

The primer is 60% water based. I was really happy to see the details of ingredients mentioned on the packaging bcz most of the local brands don't mention the ingredients of their products. So BBamna.com is doing really a good Job maintaining the international standards. Here is a look on the ingredients.

How to use

Cleanse your face and apply a thin layer of primer on cleansed and lightly moisturized face and you will feel a velvety layer on your skin. Wait for one minute and apply foundation.

Claims

The brand claims that the product is

• Oil free/water based
• Perfect for oily/acne prone skin/sensitive skin
• Gives smooth matte finish and conceals redness and minimizes pores,fine lines and wrinkles
• Long lasting up to 12hrs

Water based and absorption

Yes the claim is right. The formula is water based and absorbs really well leaving your skin smooth and velvety to touch. A silky feel is what a girls dreams of...and it comes true here

Perfect for oily skin

I have an acne prone and a very sensitive skin and for my skin the porfade primer worked really well. I have used it for a couple of times now and it didn't let my skin break out even after applying heavy makeup. So yes another claim proves right :)

Minimizes pores

The porfade primer does reduce the pores to a very fair extent. Just after applying it,I wasn't quiet happy but giving it 15 mins or more amazed me as the results were really good. The results for the cost,are really amazing.

Long lasting

The 12 hours claim can't be denied because it did stay for 7-10 hours for me. But the hours can be increased by using a setting spray upto 14 hours.

The porfade primer is a really good investment and provides very good results for the cost. You can get it in 2500/- pkr but it is on sale so hurry up and get yours...
