16th DEC,2014-MY MBBS DEGREE

Dec 06,2014

Last day of my housejob. Much excited and happy to be called as a registered doctor. I got all my necessary documents signed by HODs and MS of the hospital except my degree. I hadn't got it after my graduation, but now was the time.
But there was one issue. I was expecting my first daughter very soon and I did not want to travel from Abbotabad to Peshawar and back and then to Lahore which was our next station. (How much I cared for my unborn...Mother's love)
So, I talked to my husband who I knew would come up with a solution. So he did... :)

Dec 08,2014

My husband called one of his sepoys named Nadeem(original name changed) who was in Peshawar to take my documents, submit it in the university and bring the degree as soon as it is issued. He did as said, called my husband and said " Sir,degree 16 December ko milay g"

So we decided to wait for the degree to arrive and then leave for Lahore.
Much excited about the degree but more excited about my daughter..I waited for 16th December

Dec 16,2014

10:00 am

I asked my husband to call Nadeem and check if he went to university or not...Nadeem replied, "Sir, main abhi university k lia nikal raga hun"

We were satisfied and started packing to leave in a day or two. I was thinking about the degree and Pmdc registration, my post graduation, my daughter.. Everything was so good.. I was going to be registered, my career was going to be started, and most amazing thought was I was going to be a mother. I thought I'd take care of my daughter to max,I'd love her, give her all the happiness everything I could. I prayed Id never ever let her be harmed in any way....

11:00am

Nadeem called and said, "Sir meray bachay APS Mn phansay hain main waha ja ra hun bura na manayen tu degree ka kal pata kru gai"

We said OK but we dint know about APS then. Nadeem told us then we switched on the TV

" 7 men conducted a terrorist attack on APS Peshawar "

"Hundreds of children are inside the school along with principal and staff"

"Army had launched a rescue operation against terrorists through Pak Army's SSG"

" All the parents have gathered around the school"

"Army medical Corps reached APS for medical assistance"

"Many casualties are expected but number is not confirmed yet"

This was terrifying. This was devastating. I couldn't see the sight of the school and outside the school, those parents crying and praying desperately for their children.

I was literally crying, sobbing. I am sure everyone else was. I was thinking my yet to be born daughter is here with me and get so overwhelmed about her safety at times. What would be happening to the hearts of these parents. Their whole worlds were inside that campus which is under the attack of these merciless animals. They are not humans I m sure they are not.

My husband and I was watching the news, disturbed and angry on the current political and security situations in our country. We were talking how cruel these terrorists are to attack poor little unarmed children who had nothing to do with anything happening in the outer world.

News started to pop up...

"141 people out of which 132 were children have been killed in APS Peshawar attack"

"School's principal have also been killed"

"A school teacher is burnt infront of her students"

Ohh that's terrifying. We prayed specially for Nadeem's sons. We hoped they were not among the killed.

5:00 pm

Nadeem called my husband and said, "Sir meray do betay shaheed ho Gye hain"

Inna Lillah e wa Inna Eleh e Rajeoon

He continued, " Sir degree main Kuch din baad bhej dunga"

We were left speechless, he just lost his two out of three children, in a single day, in the most horrible way imaginable. I felt as if my heart was just buried somewhere. It was aching. It was crying...
It was strange to believe how he gathered that courage to call and inform about his just deceased sons.
I was speechless how he remembered informing about my degree which obviously carried no importance at that moment anymore.
I was overwhelmed with the sense of responsibility this person had, even after such big loss. He considered it important to inform about some duty to perform no matter how trivial it was..

And then I remembered, yes of course....why not??

HE IS A SOLDIER IN PAK ARMY

That was a proud moment. I don't know it was appropriate or not... I was definitely sad, very sad on the loss of hundreds of mothers.

And I was impressed by the way this soldier responded.
I was so impressed about how important it is for them to follow their orders,to own their duty, whatever is assigned to them. I was impressed by the strength he showed.

I always wondered how they face every difficulty?? how they don't care about their lives but care about their duty??
How is this possible for someone to die for someone else, for their country leaving families behind??

But now I know. Now I know why they are so strong in their characters, how important it is for them to fulfil their duties and promises. They are trained that way.
Now I know why Pak Army is THE BEST in the world
THEY ARE BRAVE
THEY ARE HONEST
THEY ARE DUTIFUL
THEY ARE RESPONSIBLE

A simple call by Nadeem, proved it atleast to me.....
He may not had embraced shahadat while fighting the terrorists. But his sons did. And he faced the agony, the pain of greatest loss a man can imagine. And that too bravely.

Dec 19,2014

I was packing to leave for Lahore. Our door knocked. The waiter handed over a packet to my husband and said,

"sir yeah packet aya hai Peshawar se,Nadeem be bheja hai"

It was my MBBS degree.

They are without any doubts MEN AT THEIR BEST....

Sephora pomegranate sleeping mask

Aoa everyone!!
Hope all are doing great in lives...
So here is a quick review on *Sephora pomegranate sleeping mask*...
I was much excited to receive it from Just4girls...these guys are really great....they have amazing customer service and amazing products too...
Anyways.. Sephora pomegranate mask needs a quick but clear review for those who are thinking to try it....
This is an anti-fatigue and energising mask as claimed by the creators. And believe you me guys...they are not wrong...the mask is non sticky non greasy, applies and spreads easily and doesn't make you feel having coated with a layer/s of product...its very light and has a very light to non fragrance...so those who don't like frangrant products can also give it a try....
This is how the product looks like in a jar

I hope you guys can have an idea of the consistency here... :)
Sephora we all know is a beauty wonderland for the Alices all around the world. So is this sleeping mask.
Texture
The texture is cream-gel like, light weight and non sticky and very easily blends on your skin. It literally melts into skin for penetration of active ingredients while you sleep.
Effectiveness
No doubts about that. It really helps you relaxing the skin and achieving a brighter and revitalized complexion.

Look how does it look when spread

Amazing blending !!! :)
No worries while sleeping

It literally gives your skin an awakened look and tones the skin by reducing the signs of fatigue. Its amazing without any second thoughts.
Packaging and price
Packaging as shown in the picture is tiny but amazing. Its comes in a handy plastic tub. Especially easy for those who travel a lot. The tub is encased in a red box with all the detailsnof ingredients and a proper seal is also present.

One tub is enough for 3-4 time uses and comes with a price tag of around 500-600/- (just an estimate)

My verdict
4/5
Definitely recommended
